FROM 1 JULY TO 8 SEPTEMBER
SCHEDULES FROM 8.30 AM TO 5.30 PM
The Tristaina gondola will have a distance of 230 metres and will cover a distance of 1,600 metres, a route that has been configured with 16 pylons.
With an economic investment of around 6 million euros, and a last generation widget can transport up to 1,000 people per hour.
The model, Doppelmayr D-Line Omega IV-10 SI D, has 20 cabins, and the line can extend the cabins to 31 units, which would allow 1,600 people per hour. Each cabin has a capacity for 10 people, seated.
It should be noted that, although the name of the gondola honours the Tristaina peak and glacial circus, the gondola does not reach this area, which will remain virgin and as a mountain itinerary.
At an altitude of 2,500 metres, and starting from the Forat coma, you will discover one of the most curious places in Ordino Arcalís.
THE TRISTAINA GALCIER
The Tristania glacier, a natural wonder formed by three lakes, Estany Primer, Estany del Mig and Estany de Més Amunt, watched over by the Pic de Tristania, which is 2,878 metres above sea level. During the summer, to access the glacier circus we find the Creussans chairlift, located in the Coma del Forat, or you can go on foot with a route easily accessible and barely 20 minutes long.
